Join Richard Shaw for a Millinery Photography Workshop
With many Milliners now taking their own images to promote their work online & via the various Social Media outlets, making your work stand out from the crowd can be quite a challenge.
Join Richard Shaw to learn some simple tips on how to take the photographic presentation of your work to whole new levels. Based in Melbourne, Richard has been photographing Millinery & Racing Fashion for over a decade and each year his stunning images from the Melbourne Cup Carnival are eagerly anticipated.
In this work shop you will learn how to take images with Smartphones and Point & Shoot cameras to those who are looking at dabbling with an SLR (Single Lens Reflex Camera. No matter your tool, the aim is universal; making your images "pop"!
In photography, light is everything so students will look at a few simple lighting techniques using both natural & artificial light sources. This workshop will also cover a few pointers to add some additional "kick" to your images using simple, free computer software. All the confusing technical jargon will be left at the door & participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras.
